What is the Digital Human Project?

The Digital Human Project aims to unlock the power of Digital Humans by focusing on complex, high-value applications – beyond the receptionist-type applications that they're currently used for.

The project is the first collaboration of its kind between Dr Pietro Boselli, Uneeq Digital Humans and Accelerate – and you can be a part of it, too. The Digital Human Project aims to explore, leverage, share and extend the possibilities presented by Digital Humans.

We will explore the different use cases and applications of AI and Digital Humans and document the benefits.

We will apply Digital Humans to education use cases to deliver more personal, informative and engaging learning experiences.

4. OPERATIONS

Operational efficiencies

We will apply AI to increase operations efficiencies in areas such as knowledge transfer, decision making and equipment maintenance.

5. ENGAGEMENT

Customer engagement

We will apply Digital Human technology to improve engagement throughout the entire customer life cycle.

6. EXTENSION

Extending reach

We will explore how Digital Humans can help extends organisations’ social influence and brand.

7. RESEARCH

Gaining Insights

We will conduct research around AI and Digital Humans and develop educational material to share insights.

Digital Humans is a broad technology with a seemingly endless number of use case in many different areas of business and life. The Digital Human Project is about exploring and advancing all of these possibilities. What's the Process?

The project is still in its infancy, and as such, it's still evolving. Initially, five steps will help us work on exploring the different ways that Digital Humans can improve how people interact with AI.

1. DEVELOPMENT

Developing a documentary

We will start by producing a documentary outlining the possibilities and varied applications of Digital Humans.

2. RESEARCH

Research, design thinking and DX

Applying proven research and design thinking methodologies, we will further explore the applications and benefits.

3. USE CASES

Building use cases

Drawing from the lessons we learn, we will develop a series of real-world use cases demonstrating the possibilities and benefits.

4. REFINING

Refining, regrouping and application

Over time, we will continuously refine our theories and recommendations and apply them to real-world situations.

5. LESSONS

Lessons learned

Throughout, we will capture and share the lessons we learn with members of the Digital Human Project.
